twincharged 316hp 2.0L I4 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD

30000 mi

US $390
o2 sensor problem
68000 mi

US $70
Cooling line leading into the coolant reservoir broke - emptying all the coolant into the ground. The cooling line was $40 from the dealer. It took about 3 hours to replace as I had not done it before. Now that I do, it would take less than an hour.
9300 mi While driving in a mountain region, low coolant warning pops on the dashboard when terrain is not level. Added about 1 L of coolant to the expansion tank. No visible leak. Brought it back to the dealer for a checkup of coolant system. They replaced a coolant hose on warranty.
6000 mi Fuel Filler tube cracked: caused check engine light : replaced

twincharged 313hp 2.0L I4 Plug-in Hybrid 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD

9500 mi 10,000 mile check-up, but it also had a software problem.
45500 mi Car ran shitty after previously reported repairs. Returned for download of all specification. Runs better but still not as well as before rear drive replacement. Dealer has placed a help ticket with Volvo in Norway.
48500 mi Yearly/10,000 mile service - engine tune, update software, oil change.
15000 mi Check Engine Light came on. Was fixed because of a gas fill recall.
Replaced plug-in vehicle charger.
4000 mi Check engine light was on. Software update supposedly resolved (turned out to be incorrect; see next repair trip).
6000 mi Check engine light came on again. Diagnosed as faulty fuel sensor.
8000 mi During this visit the tech installed the fuel sensor ordered during prior visit.
14000 mi Charge port replacement.
16999 mi Hybrid system failure. Replaced battery control unit.
3720 mi Hybrid system module failure causing vehicle to shut down completely in the middle of a busy street.
6000 mi An electrical problem caused the hybrid system to stop working, which resulted in a stalled vehicle. It died in the middle of downtown Seattle during rush hour. The best part it that it engages the electronic emergency brake (for safety), so I couldn't even push it out of the way. Dealer replaced a module and performed a software update.
