TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2012 Acura ILX

2012 Acura ILX Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearComment
2013 For me, Acura's front seats provide a very good combination of lateral support and comfort. Opinions of seats are bound to vary from person to person, though, as it's difficult to design one seat to fit all shapes and sizes of people. see full Acura ILX review
2012 Acura ILX Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearComment
The ILX's rear seat is considerably tighter than that in the Civic--functionality has been sacrificed in favor of a stylishly lower roofline. Six-foot passengers won't quite fit. see full Acura ILX review

2008 4dr Sedan 272-horsepower 3.5L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Similar to the front seats, super comfortable and soft. A lot of leg room with an average-sized driver + passenger up front. Rear moonroof gives off the feel of a huge ceiling. see full Lexus ES review

2010 4dr Sedan 272-horsepower 3.5L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Not very supportive. Felt like a hollowed out barrel. Only support was on the outside edges. see full Lexus ES review

the seams in a seat should run front to rear vs. left to right this would make the seat more comfortable. the Toyota Camry leather seats are definitely more comparable... I think Lexis wanted a sportier looking seat but sacrificed comfort in doing see full Lexus ES review
2008 4dr Sedan 272-horsepower 3.5L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
There is simply not enough legroom and three passengers will probably feel very cramped in the back as well. see full Lexus ES review
