YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr Wagon turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4

Great when I can take my husband and teenagers up to the mountains for a ski trip without any major complaints. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2007 4dr Sedan 255-horsepower 3.1L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Excellent for cruising but lateral support is sorely lacking for cornering. Needs power & memory for the tilt/telescope steering wheel. Good view out of and around vehicle. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2008 Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr Wagon turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The rear seat is adequate, but not large. Child seat fits fine, but my son can kick the back of the front seat. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2008 4dr Sedan 340-horsepower 4.2L V8
6-speed manual AWD
Depending on how tall your front passengers are, your rear passengers may not have any room to sit. Can fit 4 average sized adults, but it will be tight. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2008 4dr Wagon turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Seats hard and unforgiving, had a sore back in first hour. Saab seats always been superb. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2008 4dr Sedan 420-horsepower 4.2L V8
6-speed manual AWD
Rear seats seem very cramped for leg room. I've never used them, but have only ever dared to take adults on short trips in the back. Heated seats are available for the rear passengers. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2008 4dr Sedan 255-horsepower 3.1L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The rear seat is too small for adults on long trips (over an hour). And the rear seat can only hold 2 people even for short trips. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2007 4dr Sedan 255-horsepower 3.1L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Limited leg room, especially during ingress and egress. Hump bisects leg room. Seat cushion needs to be 1-2 inches higher. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2007 4dr Sedan turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
small rear seat like the 3 series see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2007 4dr Wagon turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
OK for kids, not really on for adults for a long journey. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review
2007 4dr Sedan turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4
7-speed shiftable CVT FWD
What room? What comfort? Tight and cramped and incredibly firm. Zero leg room for average height adults. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review

6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Center console protrudes into the leg area while gas pedal is far over to the right. see full Audi A4 / S4 / RS4 review

TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2013 Dodge Durango

2013 Dodge Durango Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearComment
2014 The Durango's relatively narrow width, a plus for handling, has the opposite impact on interior room. These are very much two sides of the same coin. Because the Durango's cabin isn't terribly wide it feels more agile than wider SUVs. But three passengers in the second row don't have as much space to spread out--those in a Nissan Pathfinder enjoy a couple more inches of shoulder room--and only two people can sit in the third row. (The Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and GM's large crossovers all have three belts back there.) Leg room in the Durango is much more competitive, but still a few inches short of class leading. This said, comfort isn't only a matter of interior dimensions. Both of the Durango's rear rows are well-upholstered and positioned higher off the floor than the three-row crossover norm. This benefits both thigh support and outward visibility. The Hyundai Santa Fe isn't far off in this regard, but the Nissan Pathfinder's seats are much closer to the floor, and less hospitable to adults as a result. Among the three, I'd prefer to be a rear seat passenger in the Dodge. Among large conventional SUVs, the Ford Expedition has a more comfortable third row, but the Chevrolet Tahoe (which retains a live rear axle despite a comprehensive redesign for the 2015 model year) doesn't come close. And the foot-shorter 4Runner? Its XXS third-row seat is best saved for emergencies. On the other side of the ledger, the Durango does have a higher floor than the typical car-based crossover. Getting in and out isn't as easy. This vies with curb weight as the top disadvantage of the Durango's conventional SUV configuration. see full Dodge Durango review
