Why the 2003 BMW 3-Series?

Powertrain performance

Love the sound and feel of the inline 6 engine coupled with my first manual transmission. The car was a joy to learn to drive stick on, and now I cannot go back to an automatic.

Exterior styling

I much prefer the styling of the slightly older E46 BMWs to the newer E90/91 models. The rounded front seems more friendly, and the car looks great from any angle. This is the touring (wagon).

Front seat room

Being a very tall guy, my car choices are extremely limited. I fit very well behind the wheel and the seat can go quite a ways back.
