Reviewed: 2007 BMW 3-Series

2dr Coupe turbocharged 300hp 3.0L I6 6-speed manual RWD

Why the 2007 BMW 3-Series?

Interior styling

Rich textures, controls where expected, gorgeous lighting, fit and finish top notch. Door trim very subdued but luxurious.

Powertrain performance

Stunning power throughout the powerband--effortless bursts of speed in top gear for easy highway travel, generous 3rd-4th gear power for moving through heavier traffic. Silky smooth, just enough exhaust note, excellent mileage

Handling

There is good reason the 3-series is the industry benchmark for handling...this car has perfect handling/ride balance. Direct and communicative steering, non-intrusive stability control, and absolute confidence in the twisties.

Front seat support & comfort

More padding, slightly larger than e46 sport seats, fully adjustable side bolsters and the Dakota leather seems thicker and softer than the e-46 leather.
