Why the 2004 BMW 3-Series?

Powertrain performance

Smooth power delivery plenty of usable mid-range torque FR drivetrain layout somewhat rare inline-6 cylinder engine 6th gear very usable yet efficient

Handling

very responsive plenty of grip good handling at the limit car feels "pinned down" to the road

Materials & workmanship

solid-feeling build quality matte finish/non-glossy very well thought-out and detailed design approach

Brand reputation & image

performance-oriented German engineering

Exterior styling

classic BMW headlights roof line and window line short front and rear overhangs

Why Not the 2004 BMW 3-Series?

Price or payments

maintenance is $$$ relative to other brands

Rear seat room & comfort

not enough leg room no cup holders in fold-down arm rest no power outlet in rear of center console drive shaft tunnel a bit intrusive to legroom

Cargo capacity

angle of rear seatbacks into back of trunk unable to fold rear seats forward rear shelf speakers intrude into trunk space not sure i would ever tow anything with my BMW!
