4dr Sedan 215-horsepower 3.0L I6 6-speed manual RWD

Why the 2006 BMW 3-Series?

Exterior styling

Maybe one of 2 or 3 best designed 4-door sedans.

Handling

Really fun almost all the time; has some sportscar feel under most conditions.

Powertrain performance

Very strong engine; with the rare-in-US 6-speed manual (common in Europe) lots of fun and a sense of safety from ability to do with auto whatever traffic requires.

Front seat support & comfort

Heated, 8-way, with lumbar control: seems to have comfort covered for most drivers (wheel does not telescope).

Ride smoothness

Handles most road irregularities well: almost never jars occupants, regardless of road conditions. Handles speed on interstates very well.

Why Not the 2006 BMW 3-Series?

Price or payments

Especially when "packages" are included, can be very expensive, even in 325, 328 versions. Some packages force odd accessories to get useful ones.
