TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro

2017 Chevrolet Camaro Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearComment
Neither rear seat has enough headroom for someone of even my modest (5-9) height. I could scrunch down and ride back there for a little while, but I'd almost rather walk. Getting into and out of the back seat pose additional challenges. If you want a somewhat similar car with an adult-worthy back seat, check out the much larger, much heavier Dodge Challenger. see full Chevrolet Camaro review

2017 Chevrolet Camaro Seat Room and Comfort: Cons

8-speed shiftable automatic RWD
The problem isn't so much the room available in the front seat -- once you're settled, it's fine. It's getting in and out. This car sits low, and has short doors. Getting in takes a concerted effort to not bop your head on the doorframe. Getting out sometimes takes putting your hand on the ground and falling out, then jumping to your feet like "I meant to do that!" Come to think of it, there have been a couple of times that a large-ish dip in the road has made my head actually hit the ceiling. On the other hand, this particular car has the sunroof, which reduces headroom. Still, I'm only 5'10", and I can't wear a hat in the Camaro. see full Chevrolet Camaro review

There isn't any. Just think of it as a package shelf with seatbelts. see full Chevrolet Camaro review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2009 Ford Focus

2009 Ford Focus Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2010 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.0L I4
4-speed automatic FWD
I am ranking the driver's seat high in comfort even though 10 minutes is not enough to be sure. The seat has a lot of adjustability, including height. It feels like sitting on a platform rather than a hammock. The seat felt supportive without being hard. I can imagine it would allow for long distance travel in comfort. see full Ford Focus review
2010 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.0L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Head room was great and the seat adjusted vertically with an easy to use lever. see full Ford Focus review
2009 2dr Coupe 143-horsepower 2.0L I4
5-speed manual FWD
2 door is easy to get in and out of. The leather seating option makes for a comfortable ride especially for such a small car. see full Ford Focus review

It's tight in the back. Entry and egress are a bit cumbersome in particular for the feet. My shoe size is 9.5. see full Ford Focus review

Like sitting on concrete. One minor positive was that the lumbar support was decent, but overall lacking in comfort. see full Ford Focus review

No rear armrest. Only one cupholder. see full Ford Focus review

Due to the lack of rear seat room, you must slide the front seats forward to prevent a child from kicking their feet on the back of the seats. Only a booster seat with the front seats forward will minimize this problem. see full Ford Focus review
