The passenger side hatch shock leaked so the hatch was extremely heavy to open and wouldn’t stay up. I replaced both driver and passenger shocks with GM shocks.
The bolts holding the catch latch for the rear hatch came loose. The hatch would not latch. The dealer replaced the missing bolt and this fixed the issue.
