2008 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed automatic RWD
This car goes through tie rod ends almost as fast as you change the oil. In less than 1 year it has been in for 5 different warranty-related repairs and still has random electrical problems. full 2008 Chrysler 300 review
2008 4dr Sedan 340-horsepower 5.7L V8
5-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Owned Chryslers in the past and all junk. This car is based on Mercedes E class so worried about over-engineering. Shifter seemed way too complex - electronic paddle shifter for manual override of automatic I imagined thousands to repair it. full 2008 Chrysler 300 review
2007 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Generally the Chrysler cars are low on the reliability scale and I like to own a car a long time and not having it in the shop is a big factor. My last Lincoln was 17 years old when I got rid of it and I also had 76 Oldsmobile Cutlass for almost 18 years full 2007 Chrysler 300 review
2006 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed automatic RWD
Many front suspension components have been replaced with newer or redesigned parts. Hopefully this will be addressed by Chrysler for newer vehicles. full 2006 Chrysler 300 review
2005 4dr Sedan 340-horsepower 5.7L V8
5-speed shiftable automatic RWD
I have a 1st year, but it has a weird buzzing problem with the speakers the dealer has never been able to fix, needed a torque converter at 39K and still downshifts funny every so often. Original equipment tires were crappy full 2005 Chrysler 300 review
2001 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
4-speed shiftable automatic FWD
The car is very reliable until it breaks, then it is a liability until you can pawn it on someone else. Water pump breaks...800 bucks, radiator breaks...700, catalytic convert 300 bucks, trani...total the car it’s not worth it, and engine develops a vacuumed 5k. To fix the random emergency mode...3k. Over all it’s an amazing car that has lasted me 13 years but once something major breaks at this age it’s not worth trying to repair but to just replace. No one wants to work on them but they still seem to be popular. full 2001 Chrysler 300 review
