I've been through four f150s though the years and just trade my 5 month old 2019 King Ranch for a Ram Laramie quad cab night edition. I was a diehard Ford fan. The King Ranch was the worst Ford I've ever purchased. It had numerous paint flaws, debris, drips and the final straw was the start of the roof paint bubbling off. Ford and my dealer repainted a third of my vehicle twice assuring me a factory finish. Unfortunately it was Ruby Red mettalic and never matched. I escalated to Ford and the dealer even documented 14 pages of paint flaws and all I got was we will repaint it again. The dealer told me to fix it right the whole truck would need repainted. Ford wouldn't budge on a new vehicle and asked me to give them another $7200 if I wanted another new King Ranch. That was on top of the $65k I had already paid.
Likes:
The King Ranch leather on the seats.
The acceleration and turbo noise of 3.5L V6 turbo.
The power running boards.
360 Camera system rocks
Forward collision and lane centering for long trips.
Massaging Seats with heat.
Fuel economy - usually somehwere in the 18-19 mpg range
Liked the leather steering wheel and grip.
F150 felt more substantial this helped and hurt it.
Dislikes:
Poor turning radius. The Ram turns much sharper.
The seats aren't as supportive as the Ram. They felt more spongy.
Interior seemed old and dated compared to the Ram.
Lack of storage compared to the Ram. Shifter lever takes up alot of the middle console.
Felt gas mileage should have been higher for a v6. The Hemi v8 is only slightly worse.
Sync 3 is nice but Uconnect in the Ram has a more modern appearance.
F150 felt more substantial made it feel large and lumbering.
Poor ride quality.
Noiser on the road than the Ram.
Ford quality and customer service are abymisal.
Really poor paint and poor dealer support. Pulling teeth to get any warranty work done.
Replaced with Ram
