Tried to push piston back in to fit new pads but the piston was seized in the caliper. Couldn't find a new one in my area within 2 days wait at a cost of $150.00 plus 450.00 core charge. Found a good used one at Used Parts place for $40.00. Installed, bled the air out of line and am now back on the road. Not a difficult job at all if you have a floor jack and jack stands.

Now dealer says the shudder is a typical problem and is considered "normal". Have ordered a new 2015 Tahoe LTZ.
