2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4

Looking for familly smallish SUV and our other option was a RAV-4, the CR-V felt like it had better hip and leg room in the rear. see full Honda CR-V review

2007 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic AWD
The leather front drivers seat and passenger is very comfortable, much more so then my 2002 Honda accord se. The leather is cold in the winter but the heated seats help a lot. see full Honda CR-V review

2007 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Rear seats are quite comfortable for passengers and have plenty of legroom. Entry/exit is easy. No hesitation to drive friends to a show / dinner theater /etc. where they have to stay in back an hour or more. see full Honda CR-V review

2007 Honda CR-V Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic AWD
In typical Japanese Small Car fashion, the front seats have very little thigh support for a 5ft 10inch person. The back support and position can be quite painful over 500 or more miles. This marred the ownership experience see full Honda CR-V review
2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Headrest could not be adjusted comfortably. see full Honda CR-V review
2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Roomy enough, but materials feel cheap. Bench is very thin and hard on long trip. Good leg room, but overall not as nicely done as the VW Tiguan. see full Honda CR-V review
2008 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic AWD
Seats need another couple of inches of depth to provide anyone over six feet tall with proper thigh support. A little on the firm side after a couple of hours. Could also be improved with better lateral support. Not a deal breaker unless you expect a Volvo type lounger. see full Honda CR-V review
2007 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4

Extremely cramped for me - just hated the interior and could not get past the legroom see full Honda CR-V review

No room for other passengers with a baby seat in the middle. see full Honda CR-V review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2010 Ford Focus

2010 Ford Focus Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2010 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.0L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Head room was great and the seat adjusted vertically with an easy to use lever. see full Ford Focus review
2010 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.0L I4
4-speed automatic FWD
I am ranking the driver's seat high in comfort even though 10 minutes is not enough to be sure. The seat has a lot of adjustability, including height. It feels like sitting on a platform rather than a hammock. The seat felt supportive without being hard. I can imagine it would allow for long distance travel in comfort. see full Ford Focus review
2009 2dr Coupe 143-horsepower 2.0L I4
5-speed manual FWD
2 door is easy to get in and out of. The leather seating option makes for a comfortable ride especially for such a small car. see full Ford Focus review

Like sitting on concrete. One minor positive was that the lumbar support was decent, but overall lacking in comfort. see full Ford Focus review
2010 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.0L I4

It's tight in the back. Entry and egress are a bit cumbersome in particular for the feet. My shoe size is 9.5. see full Ford Focus review

2009 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.0L I4

Due to the lack of rear seat room, you must slide the front seats forward to prevent a child from kicking their feet on the back of the seats. Only a booster seat with the front seats forward will minimize this problem. see full Ford Focus review
