Why the 2003 Honda Civic?

Fuel economy

Attention to driving practice yields up to 60 mpg on the freeway That is by using cruise control and staying at or under 55 mph

Past personal experience

My spouse drove an earlier model (not a hybrid) on a 100-mile round-trip daily commute and got 40 mpg. Sold it at 100,000 miles plus

Brand reputation & image

I find this one difficult to answer. It has an excellent reputation which has been evident in our use of the vehicle.

Why Not the 2003 Honda Civic?

Dealer practices

Huge dealer mark-ups. We went to an out-of town dealer for that reason.
