2009 4dr Sedan 290-horsepower 3.8L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Lots of leg room and width. Air conditioning and heat controls that can be controlled separately from the front passengers choices. Rear window shade. see full review
2008 Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr Sedan 290-horsepower 3.8L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
First, I am a tall person and the seatbelt height adjustment does not go high enough, so if an accident should occur I believe that the shoulder belt will slip off. Also, the seats could be built more comfortable, more sporty. see full review

2009 4dr Sedan 290-horsepower 3.8L V6

The Genesis provides spirited performance when required. The vehicle changes smoothly throughout the gears and seems to accelerate effortlessly when required for passing on the highway. see full review

2009 4dr Sedan 375-horsepower 4.6L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
The V8 is incredibly quick but smooth at the same time. Exhilarating acceleration, without head jerking transmission shifts. see full review
2008 Powertrain: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr Sedan 375-horsepower 4.6L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Only issue is the "learned" throttle response over time when pulling out into traffice (to save gas!). My Mercedes does the same thing see full review
2009 4dr Sedan 290-horsepower 3.8L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic RWD
This is a major disappointment for me. The select shift is really is a waste of space, because the Genesis shifts when it chooses, not when I would prefer. That is both up shifts and downshifts. It this was corrected, it would greatly improve the car. see full review
