I find the Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4L to be an excellent choice for a comfortable and safe ride. The 4 cylinder engine runs very smooth, has enough pep to keep up in traffic and the whole car is quiet enough to allow for conversations at highway speeds.
The styling is of the form follows function idea. It is not flashy at all. But it is clean, aerodynamic and well proportioned. The interior provides ample space for 4 adults with the option to squeeze in a 5th person, a well organized cockpit, easy to reach and operate controls and a large trunk.
I like traveling in this car because of its easy going character. It has a calming effect on my driving style. It also provides very good fuel economy (31mpg).
