I lease a 2013 Honda Civic hybrid. I'd get another, but Honda has discontinued it for 2016. I get about 35 MPG driving in D.C. traffic. I'll need to get a new lease this year.
  • The only other Honda hybrids are the Accord (which is probably outside my price range)...

I'm looking for a reliable, comfortable to drive car that will last me 5-7 years. I currently drive a 2004 Mercedes-Benz C Class, which has been and still is a great car. However, the older I get, the more I want something with a smoother ride, especially going over bumps...

I've had 7 Acuras, most recently TSX. I want a sporty/elegant car, but I don't love the ILX and am shopping.

I've eliminated the Hyandai Sonata because too much play insteering wheel and ride
felt mushy.I'm looking at Buick Verano, Ford Fusion and Nissan Altima.

Desired features: responsive...

I have a 2010 GMC Terrain 4cyl that has the room I need and I get 27mpg in mixed driving (60% highway, 40% city/rural). I have put 127,000 miles on it in just over 4 years so reliability is important. It is OK on long trips, however, my wife does...

Thought I wanted an SUV or crossover, mostly because I've had a wagon/hatchback/SUV in the house for 30 years. I've used them for family camping and home repair stuff as well as commuing. Replacing a 2006 Ford Freestyle, 180,000 miles, that is much bigger than I need now that our...

My wife and I, both in our 60s, have been driving around Los Angeles in a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis that's banged up and runs okay but is in the process of falling apart, so we need a replacement - luckily, there's a lot to look at in LA, but...
5 responses   Fun car for the daily commute and spirited back road driving.
Member6673

99% of my driving is going to be the daily 1+ hour commute. The rest of the time will be for weekend trips with my wife/wife+family. That said, I need four seats but I don't need a ton of cargo space.

I want some power, handling, decent fuel efficiency,...

Have had current car for 10 years and 125,000 miles, looking for a car that would be used for commute to work, trips around town.

Current commute is about 20 miles each way in traffic.

Have really started to look into hybrids (Honda Accord, Hyandai Sonata, Ford Focus),...

I am 81 years old, wanting a VERY reliable car, as good as my 1997 Camry which has had scheduled services, needing no other services. I want that kind of car again, but mine has 135,000 miles and it looks and feels kind of old. I want something newer, and...

It is nearing up time to replace my mother-in-law's '99 Millenia S. Overall been a decent car but has a bunch of issues currently that we are not fixing. Big one (shocker I'm sure) is rusted wheel arch. She's had the car since new, it has about 93k miles on...

I currently have a 2012 Accord EX manual. I enjoy the 5-speed and the overall ride/handling balance, plus its roominess. But the driver's seat is absolutely awful. I've had custom upholstery work done on it (twice) and have tried a number of different cushions. No dice. At my age (mid-30s)...

Looking for a highly reliable sedan with good visibility and comfortable enough to accomodate 4 adults (2 over 6 feet) and a child. Other priorities are good handling and a quiet ride.
