Discounts & incentives
At the time of purchase (10/08), there was a $2,000 rebate from the factory as well as a $500 owner loyalty rebate. This, combined with local dealer selling at or below invoice, made the car $3K-$4K less out the door than a comparable Camry or Accord.
Interior styling
Very good ergonomics especially as compared to the 2006-2008 models. Hyundai did a good job refreshing this version. Dash lighting and layout are much improved.
Materials & workmanship
Still some minor fit and finish issues which Hyundai needs to work on. Noticed that the body joints under the car were never coated with undercoating like the rest of the chassis. This is something one would not see on a Toyota or Honda.
Color choices
The color choices are very bland and unexciting across the whole Hyundai line. Not looking to make fashion statement, but why not a bright red or a "real" blue?
Rear seat room & comfort
Rear seat legroom and headroom are good. Daughters complain that the seating position is too upright.
