2015 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Projector Headlight Design presents major safety concerns by fayrankin
Member6641
The design of the projector head lights on this car do not provide sufficient visibility when making 90 degree or greater turns. Another major issue is the very limited visibility forward on undulating roads when on low beam. The forward visibilty is severly limited and the field of view is like you are viewing the highway throught a small slot.
The manufacturer says the car is performing as designed.
If you drive on dark streets and rural roads, you SHOULD NOT BUY this auto until you have driven it under the conditions I've described. NUFF SAID

The Customer Service folks at Hyndai are weasels.
Dealer practices
The dealer won't stand up for you because they don't want to lose their franchise.
Audio & nav systems
They are like slot machines. More $$ for this and more $$ for that.
Driving position & visibility
Window posts do not help the side visibility problem.
If you never drive at night and don't worry that some day there will be lawsuits over the head lights on this car, it is probably not a bad choice.
