Car accelerated poorly and would lost power during take off and at times on the highway. Jerky. Lunged forward unexpectedly in low gear. Unpredictable performance. First dealer replaced hose on transmission. Car had ceased to move after stop. second trip, different dealer. replaced transmission. when I picked up the car from the first dealer, it was hesitating when I tried to accelerate. By the time I got to the dealer, it hiccuped and coughed when I tried to go after stop.

Check engine light. First time, they found no code. Second time they found stored {P0711) a few days later they found P0713, both related to transmission fluid temperature sensor. On last trip sensor replaced - tech bulletin 11-AT-010.
CEL and code read was P O711, Trans Temp Sensor. Took 3 trips to Dlr for them to 'find code' and arm wrestle on warranty coverage. It was finally covered: installed new harness.
slipping gears from 2nd to 3rd. Apparently the issue wasn't covered on warranty. after bitching to Hyundai Canada (phone, letters, emails), they finally agreed to compensate me for 25% - how gracious of them. Still cost me over $1,500!!!
I ended up trading my 2006 Hyundai Tucson in for a Honda Pilot in December 2009. The transmission broke after 130,000 km or so and I had other issues with the tucson; it just wasn't worth the cost of repairs. Sorry for not reporting early
The Automatic Transmission had a delay of 5 seconds after engaging D (Drive) or R (Reverse).
The dealer replaced the Automatic Gearbox Selector switch (situated externally and topside of the gearbox).
