TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder

2014 Nissan Pathfinder Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearComment
Adults will easily fit in both back rows if the second row is adjusted midway through its travel, but they won't be very comfortable. Total legroom for all three rows is a generous 114.7 inches, 3.4 more than in the larger GMC Acadia. But as in the Acadia, the second row seat is too low to provide adults with proper thigh support. The Ford Flex is the champ in this area, while the new Santa Fe also puts in a strong showing. The seat cushion itself feels more substantial than that in the Acadia, but the GMC can fit three people in the third row (as can the Pilot). Only two can sit back there in the Pathfinder. see full Nissan Pathfinder review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Powertrain of the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder

2014 Nissan Pathfinder Powertrain: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2013 4dr SUV 260-horsepower 3.5L V6
CVT FWD
I will start this off by saying that the CVT transmission in my 2009 Altima was responsive and quick, there were never any problems when I pressed the gas to get around anyone. The 2013 Pathfinder, on the other hand, seems to lag a bit. When you press the gas, the car hesitates for about 1/2 a second before it kicks into "gear". Once it is ready to go, it is plenty powerful. I realize any automatic transmission has some latency, however, since I was able to compare this with my Altima it is dissappointing for the newer version of CVT Transmission. see full Nissan Pathfinder review
