Why the 2007 Nissan Versa?

Why Not the 2007 Nissan Versa?

Reliability & durability

Versa 1 visited the repair shop 5 times in 8000 miles before being totalled in an accident. Versa 2 visited the repair shop more than a dozen times in 31,000 miles, and had a dangerous transmission problem that was never fixed.

Powertrain performance

CVT version of the car is very bizarre to drive and requires a lot of learning to get the best performance and/or mileage out of. 6-speed is geared far too closely, it might as well be a 4-speed.

Dealer practices

Promised repairs were never delivered, reported problems were not investigated or blamed on external sources, despite the problems clearly being with the vehicle or its build quality. Tendancy for departments to "pass the buck" to each other.

Ride smoothness

When driving down washboarded sections of road, you get a feeling of "milkshake brain"
