Why the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Powertrain performance

The car has an excellent powertrain, the transmission is said to be very reliable and the engine (3.8 Series III) is the best series yet. I also like how the transmission is geared to keep engine revs to a minimum for added fuel economy.

Fuel economy

Thus far, I have averaged 23 and 26 mpg, both times have had roughly a 70 mile highway trip out of 200 miles. Overall, I find this to be acceptable.

Price or payments

My Grand Prix was listed for $28,000 when new. The price I paid for it just 4 years later - $11,500. The depreciation helped me get a very well equipped vehicle, and I pay just $101 a month after the trade in and down payment.
