Why the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Powertrain performance

The acceleration and torque is very accessible and help make it an exciting drive.

Handling

The Comp G allows for greater control over bumps and winding roads while maintaining a higher speed.

Past personal experience

The 1999 Gp GTP I previously owned was very reliable and had much the same features, and the 04 model has improved many of the things that the previous one lacked.

Price or payments

Buying used allows for the previous owner to recieve the depreciation, while I get a great deal on a slightly used car that has a powertrain proven to last. The price of my 04 model was only $2500 more than I sold my 99 GTP with a 50,000 mile difference.

Reliability & durability

It can handle aggressive driving and high mileage, while maintaining its youthful feel. Maintenance is low and more affordable, because I can make many of the repairs myself with my limited knowledge of car repair.
