This is a nuisance. After light flurries, I woke early and off to work. It was below freezing and some water may have gotten into the mirror assembly. When I removed the Left Rear flat tire I found 2 studs with stripped out threads and 2 damaged lug nuts. Damaged was caused by tire shop when I had tires rotated a few months prior. I ordered 2 wheel studs and 2 lug nuts online from local parts store and replaced them myself. Replacing damaged studs took 10 minutes, getting the stripped lock nuts off took almost 2 hours. |
