For a car of that size, the fuel economy is dismal. I get about 19 in the city, which is where most of my driving is done. That is marginally better than any SUV.
Compared to my previous car, a GTI, the interior is cheap - lots of plastic. The exterior paint is thin, and highly susceptible to scratches and chips.
The head unit is weak, especially when using the auxiliary plug for an iPod. The volume has to be cranked up to get a moderate volume level from the iPod.
I had 2 wheels damaged during routine maintenance, and it took months to get those repaired/replaced. The dealership where the car was purchased had only one person I wold deal with again - the finance guy.
