2012 Impreza - base 2012 Subaru Impreza / WRX Pros and Cons Member5347 The handling is adequate for basic family transportation and commuting. Spirited driving through turns will reveal moderate body roll. The 4WD and Active Torque Splitter(60:40) combination has done well at keeping my car pointed in the right direction even with the tires screeching. |
Practical, fun to drive, and good value but with plenty of room for improvement 2012 Subaru Impreza / WRX Pros and Cons Member5883 Handling is excellent. The firm suspension and low center of gravity deliver minimal body roll in turns. The full time AWD and good weight distribution help to keep everything neutral with no torque steer and minimal understeer or oversteer. Stability control is effective at keeping you out of trouble. |

2012 Subaru Impreza / WRX Pros and Cons Member5727 Handled better than Honda Fit & Toyota Matrix. |

Value All wheel drive, needs interior refinement 2011 Subaru Impreza / WRX / Outback Sport Pros and Cons alex_r You can't find a better car for $22k that has as any form of all wheel drive off the lot brand new. This car will drive in 4"+ of snow on stock Potenza's without fail. And in the summer, it's just as fun through tight corners on the mountain roads... |

WRX- Best bang for the buck but at a premium. 2004 Subaru Impreza / WRX / Outback Sport Pros and Cons Member5686 A solid handling machine! Thoroughly enjoy and have come to depend on the All Wheel Drive system! Once you have it, you won't want to go back to FWD or RWD applications. You cannot beat the characteristics of AWD in wet conditions such as rain or snow. |

Good, practical if uninspiring 2012 Subaru Impreza / WRX Pros and Cons timneyb We find our car to have nice precise handling and very decent grip. |
2012 Subaru Impreza / WRX Pros and Cons Member4354 Very planted in highspeed turns, the suspension is tightly tuned but also very comfortable which is a hard thing to do. Good turn in, minimal body roll. |

2010 Subaru Impreza / WRX / Outback Sport Pros and Cons Member5140 The AWD is unmatched by any any other car in its class. Its balance is nearly perfect, and it is impossible to lose control (I have tried to in AutoX). I have yet to find a sedan that comes anywhere close to its handling. |

2006 Subaru Impreza / WRX / Outback Sport Pros and Cons Member1169 With decent tires it grips well, and is very easy to manuver in emergencies |

2010 Subaru Impreza / WRX / Outback Sport Pros and Cons Member3954 For straight out of the factory the handling is pretty good, at least to me. Minimal body lean in turns, and the car just seems to feel very planted. Ride harshness is I would say on par or possibly slightly better than my former civic. |
