Reviewed: 2003 Subaru WRX

4dr Sedan turbocharged 227hp 2.0L H4 5-speed manual AWD

Why the 2003 Subaru WRX?

Driving position & visibility

You sit low in the car and there is great visibility over the low hood line. Feels cozy in the car, which I like.

Front seat support & comfort

I am 6ft tall, 180 pounds and the front seat fits me like a glove. Not a fancy seat, just perfect shape and support.

Controls and instruments

Simple. Simple. Simple. All manual controls and that let me tell the car what I want from it. No fancy electronic controls like the Saabs I used to have. And hate.

Why Not the 2003 Subaru WRX?

Cargo capacity

Small car. Enough said.

Feature availability

No fancy options available in 2003 Imprezas. Subaru seems to be a few years behind in terms of upgrading their interiors (audio, dash, etc)

Insurance cost

Insurance is expensive for the WRX.
