Intake valve cleaning. I believe this is an issue with all direct injected cars that do not have any Air/ Fuel mixture going by the intake valves. I removed my intake at 14K miles and saw the build up starting. I removed it with carb cleaner and small wire brushes. I used CRC intake valve cleaner into a central port on the intake at 20K miles. I'm a 30K now, so sometime around 40k I will remove the intake again and do a second manual cleaning with the CRC spray. |
