Overall: a solid cheap car. 2003 Volkswagen Passat Pros and Cons Member5566 This is not a problem for me (5' 9"), but the clutch pedal travel is very long and the front seet does not go very far forward. Shorter people (under 5' 4" or so) may have to reach for the clutch pedal. |

2015 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T Sport Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The view forward is excellent in both the Volkswagen Passat and the Mazda6. Then there's the... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Mazda Mazda6 |

2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI SEL Premium Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Some midsize sedans put a higher priority on styling than on driver visibility. As a result, they're hard to see out of. The Passat, in contrast, has a relatively upright windshield and (by current standards) thin pillars, so it's easy to see out of. 2003 Volkswagen Passat Pros and Cons Member4865 Very comfortable with excellent viability |
2007 Volkswagen Passat Pros and Cons Member472 The seating position is quite flexible, and there is a lot of room for all occupants. The seats provide very good support, and you can see very well in all directions except the small blind spots in the rear quarters. |

2003 Volkswagen Passat Pros and Cons A member in New Jersey, United States Upright position is comfortable and promotes good posture. Relatively low beltline means great visibility from windows and windshield. Power adjustable front seats means comfort for everyone. |
