After 2years and 22000 miles we have found the Smart to be a great daily driver and good on the trips of 200 and 300 miles. Although this may not be a car for every one it has worked well for us ( a retired couple). it cut our fuel bill by 2/3 over the Saturn Vue, has been trouble free and we can still but 15 to 20 bags of groceries in the back or enough luggage to travel. Our mpg seem to better than average ( 48 for 22000 miles) due to area we live. Very little city and speeds between 45 and 65 on most roads helps. full 2009 smart fortwo review |
