Why the 2002 BMW 3-Series?

Handling

This auto has excellent handling, useful during spirited driving or every day commuting. The feel of the ride is suburb. If you are not an auto enthusiast you may not be impressed. An extensive history of design and engineering is manifest in this mod

Safety & braking

The 3 series has very large brakes for a small car. More than required to stop at high speed, in an emergency, etc.

Ride smoothness

The suspension is very tight. It feels like you are on the ground and will remain on the ground even when cornering at 40mph +. Not that you should.

Controls and instruments

The 3 series control is functional and practical.

Materials & workmanship

Fine materials and craftsmaship.

Why Not the 2002 BMW 3-Series?

Fuel economy

The fuel usage is normal for a six cylinder of this type.

Front seat room

Sports seats are not designed for comfort. I would not consider this a touring car. It is not a touring car.

Rear seat room & comfort

This is a sport car.

Price or payments

As this car is subject for taxation at many levels you will always pay more. The cost of parts is not as high as you would think.

Dealer practices

The dealership in my area has some less than informed sales people. The service is not great. I could go on and on. Find a good dealer, you will need one.
