2009 BMW 3-Series Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by ***pmmccarty

Powertrain performance
It is a very smooth and powerful engine with almost no turbo-lag. Power is available on demand. I love the torque.
Discounts & incentives
The bad economy has given dealers an incentive to offer great deals to prospective buyers. On top of that, BMW is offering 0.9% financing.
Price or payments
This car is pretty expensive and the payments are somewhat burdensome, but I understood the cost of entry going into the car buying process. That said, you get what you pay for. This car is still a great value.
Insurance cost
My insurance went up about 25% when I purchased this car (I previously owned a late model Nissan Xterra). Depreciation is not a huge issue, though, as 3-Series hold their resale value very well.
