Why the 2006 BMW 3-Series?

Handling

I feel like I am in touch with the car and the road. I feel quite in control. The car feels like it sticks to the road. The throttle response is quick and smooth. The transmission shifts smoothly.

Exterior styling

The style is clean and bold. I find perfectly understated.

Interior styling

It is clean and simple. The sports seats and leather covering are beautiful and functional.

Materials & workmanship

Parts are high quality and fit well. Everything is solid and tight.

Brand reputation & image

It is know for its handling and sporty appearance. The image is of one that enjoys driving.

Why Not the 2006 BMW 3-Series?

Ride smoothness

The 330i with the sport suspension and large wheels rides like a buckboard. Holes in the road or railroad tracks feel as if the car has no suspension at all.

Quietness

The tires are so loud that I am glad no one is riding with me.

Reliability & durability

I fear that it will leave me stranded even though I love driving it and have had no trouble except one day the battery was completely dead when I was ready to leave work for no known reason.

Rear seat room & comfort

There is little foot room and the ride is rough.

Insurance cost

The value drops quickly and I would only consider a CPO vehicle. The price of insurance.
