2dr Coupe 414-horsepower 4.0L V8 6-speed manual RWD

Why the 2009 BMW 3-Series?

Handling

Razor sharp handling and steering feel feedback. Completely predictable, neutral handling with slight understeer but can induce oversteer. Incredible amount of grip.

Powertrain performance

Smooth and powerful, high-revving V8. Linear powerband and deceptively "torque-y" especially at higher RPMs. Civilized at lower RPMs for day to day driving.

Safety & braking

Standard with full curtain air bags. Despite being single piston break calipers breaking is phenomenal for street use and track use with upgraded break pads. Good linear break feel.

Exterior styling

Sporty without being overbearing or "cheap". Distinguishable from non-M 3-series without deviating too much from the family.

Interior styling

Clean, great color options and leather. Ergonomic front cabin.

Why Not the 2009 BMW 3-Series?

Fuel economy

16 mpg for light city/highway driving. 16 gallon fuel tank limits range to about 300 miles for typical owners (assuming you run the tank dry).

Cargo capacity

Rear fold down seats but trunk is still cramped.
