Why the 2007 BMW 3-Series?

Exterior styling

Hi, I'ved owned my 335i 07 hardtop convertible for almost 5 years now. Purchased used and its been a "gem"! I love the styling, its sexy and sleek and w/o the B pillar I think it looks better than the Coupe. It is my full-time car, so having the best of a hardtop and convertible is wonderful for both sun and snow. Pros - Great looks, great driving, fantastic response, decent to extraordinary service (CPO cars come with 4 year warranty). Cons - Fuel mileage in town/commuting short distances, complex controls & motors (top), limited cargo space in trunk when top down (somewhat limited but not insurmountable), space for rear seat passengers (better be small!) Overall a great car, I want a new one! Best car I've owned!

Why Not the 2007 BMW 3-Series?

Dealer location

I have to travel 250 miles for service (warranty) and its had to be "trucked" over the hill (mountains once or twice). BMW paid cost, but it was at best inconvenient.

Fuel economy

I typically use mid-grade fuel even though premium is recommended. I've not seen a problem because of my altitude, but less that 15 MPG is average except on the road. Most trips are through the mountains which also decreases the fuel mileage d/t hills
