2018 Dodge Durango SRT Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Why buy a Dodge Durango SRT? Look to the front fenders for the most obvious reason: badges indicating that a 392-cubic-inch (6.4-liter) V8 engine resides under the hood. With 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, this engine can press all aboard back into their seats and accelerate... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Ford Explorer |

2014 Dodge Durango Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh When paired with a Mercedes-supplied five-speed automatic, Chrysler's 290-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 wasn't up to the task of motivating 5,000 pounds of curb weight. So I recommended the optional V8 with the 2011 to 2013 Durango. With the 2014's eight-speed automatic, though, the V6 feels plenty strong in typical driving, and... 2012 Dodge Durango Pros and Cons Member5441 At first I thought the six speed transmission was in need of repair. Slow, harsh shifting with occasional lurch with overdrive lock. Went away in about 1,000 miles, the transmission seemed to adapt to my driving style. At same time mileage wne up. |

2012 Dodge Durango Pros and Cons Member2931 On paper the Pentastar V6 looks speedy, but it just doesn't seem to have much power when you punch it. It's adequate, but I think it's limited by the gearing and 1 less gear than the Enclave |

2003 Dodge Durango Pros and Cons Member4477 The 4.7 is a great engine with plenty of power and performance. 2003 was the first year for the five speed automatic and it has been flawless. Very smooth shifting - you really never notice it. |

2005 Dodge Durango Pros and Cons Member3176 The Hemi performs faultlessly. Floats along at 1800-1900 RPM at 70mph. All the power you need when called on. At a steady cruise control 60MPH, we typically get 18-19 MPG on the interstate and 14.5 - 15.9 in city driving. |

2007 Dodge Durango Pros and Cons A member in Nebraska, United States Decent power, good fuel mileage for an 8 passenger viechle, and living in the country, we needed 4wd to handle muddy unpaved roads. Flex fuel capability is a plus for us, as it is readily available, and about 90 cents cheaper than regular. |
