It turned out the spring was covered under a warranty extension for that one part, but Ford never notified us of any warranty extension, so we paid out of pocket not knowing of the coverage. Cheap plastic thermostat housing cracked and leaked out all the coolant causing the engine to overheat. The car only has 39K miles on it, things like that should never happen on a car with that low mileage. |
