The buttons in the (non-nav) Fusion SE really distract from the overall vehicle. Also, the awful uber-adjustable driver's seat takes away from the very positive driving experience. Looking at the price, appears to be a very good value in a competitive class (was a rental car for me and even with 9,000 miles, no signs of wear like some cars have).
The bluetooth system did an excellent job connecting to my phone and the quality was excellent. However, I'll address the interface in the "cons" section.
Very sprightly, transmission smooth, did not feel isolated from the driver completely.
Very comfortable cruiser on the highway even with a full load of 5 adult men and bags. No erratic bouncing.
Tons of legroom and passengers pleased with the accommodations.
The driver's seat was atrocious to get set - took forever (three drives over 2 days) with a zillion directions to move the seat - more adjustments does not mean more comfortable!!
Oh my, there are more buttons and controls than in a 727 (or at least last-gen Acura). Not at all intuitive where different functions are. I love buttons over touch screens, but this setup is overkill. It worked well once I figured it out - but had to keep working at it to understand.
Awful, awful adjustments to the drivers seat and the confusing sea of buttons on the dash and steering wheel (more buttons on the steering wheel than many cars have total).
