8000 mi TracKey posing problem with emmissions testing and occasional misfiring. Brought to local Ford Dealer and they said the TracKey voided the warranty. Going back and forth with Ford about the key and trying to reestablish warranty.

Water pump was making grinding noises since the morning. While driving back home this noise became louder and suddenly stopped. Steam started to show under the hood indicating a major leak. Car was towed to a dealership. Pump and top radiator hose was replaced.

Defective, leaky waterpump. Replaced with correct aftermarket unit and updated OEM overflow hose. Flush and refill. Dealer could not look at it on a Saturday but Ford eventually reimbursed total cost ($400).
