2011 Ford Mustang Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: I am having a CRISIS so I need a convertible ! by richiezoom

Nothing quite like a Mustang convertible.... or any convertible really.
This car was great to drive... Gas mileage good, V6 runs on 87 octane fine.
Power is adequate after the engine is broken in (60,000mi for mine) as it was on the Interstates 95% of the time.
Brakes are very good, comes with 2010 GT (v8) brakes.... nice.
Ride quality is still a sports car, but has softer springs/shocks than the coupe. This agrees with my 50 year old backside.
Past personal experience
Bad was the vibration that developed as the miles piled up... when decelerating the whole driveline would buzz/vibrate heavily in 4th, 3rd, 2nd gear with the 6 speed manual trans. It can be "fixed" but will entail replacing the clutch and flywheel at a cost of $2500 (dealership) due to the clutch dust buildup on the movable counter weights located on the flywheel. No thanks.... I traded the vehicle at 100K and bought a 2013 Mustang V6 premium coupe automatic.
Life is too short to drive boring cars. /RZ
