2004 Honda Accord Fuel Economy: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2004 4dr Sedan 160-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed manual FWD
30-34 highway miles per gallon is pretty good for a car of its size.
2004 4dr Sedan 240-horsepower 3.0L V6
5-speed automatic FWD
All the Accords I have owned have beat the highway EPA estimates. This Accord with the V6 is rated at 30 mpg. On my last trip to St. Louis I got 32 mpg with 4 passengers and driving around 75 mph. Hard to beat in a mid-sized sedan.
2004 4dr Sedan 160-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
2.4L provides outstanding economy given size/weight of vehicle. Average 30MPG in over 50,000 miles.
2004 4dr Sedan 240-horsepower 3.0L V6
5-speed automatic FWD
Excellent mileage for a 240 hp V6. Drove it round trip from Dallas to Florence, Kentucky and averaged 30.2 mpg with an average speed of around 75 mph.
