Feb 2011 R 1750 the "moaning" from the rear axle got very loud. previously diagnosed as "tyre noise" turned out to be a rear wheel bearing that failed.

Oct 2010   My transmission failed.Honda repaired it, no cost to me but stuck me with the 8 day car rental that I expected them to pick up. That transmission failure was not my fault. The replacement vehicle should not have cost me a thing.($400)

Mar 2011 US $400 Driveshafts were worn--replaced preventatively. 
Jun 2013   CEL threw catalytic converter efficiency code. Was quoted >2K for the part (excl. labor) by the dealer - had been serviced there from day one. Decided to replace car instead.

Nov 2010 C $680 Rubber suspension parts had to be replaced. These re aparently normal wear items although 108,000km seemed pretty early to have this kind of repair.

Aug 2010   AC compressor failed, fouled entire system. Dealer replaced compressor and most other parts in AC system. Extended Warranty paid over 3000 dollars, with zero deductible and rental car for time in shop. 
Mar 2013 US $165 Rear differential pads needed burnishing--again(TSP)-- and differential fluid needed changing. Vehicle had terrible steering shimmy when turning. Diff oil will need 1-2 more changes every six months to completely fix this issue. 
Sep 2014   Both radiator and condensor electric fans stopped working.

Oct 2010   Rear hatch would briefly indicate open when car would travel over moderate bumps, expansion joints, etc. Unsure if rear hatch was securely closed. Dealer adjusted hinges on rear hatch - repair was successful. 
Feb 2012 US $65 Driver side front window refused to move. Dealer cleaned and adjusted window, and window works.

Jul 2009 US $987 AC Compressor self-destructed. Replace AC system. Honda paid half. 
May 2010   Front suspension strut failed. Detected by alignment tech. confirmed by personal inspection.
