4dr Sedan 197-horsepower 2.0L I4 6-speed manual FWD

Why the 2007 Honda Civic?

Handling

Very fun and chuckable for a FWD car. LSD is a hoot.

Fuel economy

Frugal when driven lazily. Pep without forced induction means I get gas half as often as my best friend and his WRX.

Why Not the 2007 Honda Civic?

Quietness

Stock tires are LOUD (and crappy). In cabin noise isolation is menial. All the better to hear the exhaust with perhaps. It irritates the wife and contributes to driver fatigue over long distances.

Powertrain performance

One can never be too thin, too rich or have enough horsepower. Limited torque and a high rpm vtec window means the engine needs to be kept at a boil if you want this thing to move. Think 600cc motorcycle.

Interior styling

Leather would have been nice. The design motif seems to alternate between pedestrian and buck rogers.
