Reviewed: 2007 Honda Civic

4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 1.8L I4 5-speed automatic FWD

Why Not the 2007 Honda Civic?

Ride smoothness

The shocks must not have all-weather fluid as they quit working at -20F.

Materials & workmanship

Two recalls- brake light switch from too much steering grease and rear wheel bearing from torn seal from factory!

Driving position & visibility

The extreme rake to the windshield makes entering and exiting difficult for short drivers. Too easy to miss bikes and motorcycles for same reason.

Reliability & durability

Had an oil leak at 27,000 miles that required warranty work. It was a known problem. On returning home I found the engine grounding strap had not been reattached.

Front seat support & comfort

All cars sold in northern climes should have heated seats at least optional.
