I was told is just a small bushing under the car. I tried asking for a quote and it was bit expensive at more than $1000.00.
new rack and pinion assembly replacement ( I was told it is leaking, but never seen any dropped on my drive way???). Also new fan belt.
Replaced noisy wheel bearings due to provincial inspection. Also brakes.
Drivers side control arm for anti-sway bar was bad. Replaced control arm and anti-sway bar. Thankfully the mechanic noticed it. Poor design by Hyundai.
The passenger side front lower control arm needs to be replaced due to a rubber bushing failure. The part had to be ordered and I will have to return the car for installation once the part comes in. The passenger side front lower control arm had to be replaced due to a rubber bushing failure. The repair was done successfully on the second trip.
The power steering rack is leaking. They ordered a new one which should arrive within a week. Car will return for installation. I had to call-after two weeks of waiting-to see if part was in, it was. I left the car for the day, went to pick it up and the lower front fascia had not been replaced. That done, I left. The repair was needed...the car steers better now.
