2008 Nissan Rogue 4dr SUV

170-horsepower 2.5L I4 CVT FWD

5580 mi CVT Transmission was replaced, due to inherant manufacturer defect. The new replacement part was an upgraded, newly designed CVT transmission.

Front passenger-side CV Joint boot was torn, grease found to have leaked out. Dealer recommended replacing entire axle. Dealer sourced aftermarket replacement part, repair was successful.

2008 Nissan Rogue 4dr SUV

170-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable CVT AWD

10000 mi Transmission/transaxle failed. 
16000 mi Transmission failed again. Original Transmission failed at 7,000 miles, replaced. Failed again at 15,000 miles, replaced again. 
18000 mi trans replaced 
25000 mi another transmission issue. Poor shifting, NOT shifting causing high gear during low speeds causing valvetrain rattling 
7440 mi Famous CVT rattle. Dealer and Nissan Canada are aware of problem and are working on a fix 
11160 mi CVT rattle, CVT was replaced. 
13640 mi CVT started rattling again. Replaced CVT for the second time. I am now on mthe 3rd CVT 
8000 mi Strange noise coming when driving forward, isolated to the Transfer Case and the CVT, ordered new Transfer Case to be installed. 
10000 mi Still have not fixed issue, despite transfer case replacement. 
11000 mi Entire transmission replaced. 
3100 mi Rubber boot had come loose and was hanging on driveshaft causing a very loud noise when driving vehicle.
