Why the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Powertrain performance

Rock solid 3800, possibly the best all-around engine ever made by GM. Have put a ton of miles on these engines, never a major malady. Have always gotten good MPG, too. This is my first car with a "fly-by-wire" throttle, you can tell, but still very quick.

Past personal experience

Have had a lot positive experience with this marque from the first to my current Pontiac. My favorite division of GM, but probably the next on the chopping block. Look forward to getting a G8 next.

Reliability & durability

Rock solid, even my older ones were real respectable. Would recommend any GM car powered by the 3800 series II or III. These motors are bulletproof.
