I get 27-28 mpg in the cold winter and 30+ in the summer/fall. I love filling up once every few weeks.
The wagon fits everything! The back seats fold down flat and you can fit almost anything (besides a couch) in the back.

the engine is quite loud but i think it would be the same for any 4wd in the middle of winter.
