We are approaching our 60's. Our boys left the house and left a 60 lbs Springer Spaniel behind. Our yearly milage dropped from 20K to about 12K thanks to the lack of soccer and boyscout activities. I imagine we will now fly more and rent but still do day trips...

Have looked at Honda CRV and Nissan Rogue; I like both, mainly due to reliability, gas mileage and AWD. Toyota Rav4 and Kia Sportage would be 2nd choices in SUV department. In wagons, would consider Toyota Matrix and Subaru.

The number of repairs are probably my key factor in selecting a vehicle.
The next would be fuel economy.
I'm not into hybrid yet because I think they have a long way to go before a standard is accepted and the cost of repairs are too high and the space...

My 1995 Camry Wagon has been hit, and my insurer wont fix it. So I need a reliable replacement gear hauler. I really like wagons, but would be happy with a small SUV. Reliability and good driver visibility are my 2 main priorities. I've got about $10,000 to spend and...

Looking for a vehicle for my husband. We want a mid-size SUV with towing capability (light loads) and 4WD. It needs to have enough room to fit his 6'3'' self. He will be towing his canoe and utility trailer often during hunting season-short distances. We want room in the back...

Looking for a good solid, reliable car for my sister who has two kids. She prefers something a little smaller than a minivan but is open to a small one. Would like it to last at least 5-7 years or more, up to at least 200k. Thanks!

Something cheap and reliable. Possibly an alternative to the Honda Civc/Accord since they tend to be expensive from brand recognition. Looked at some Mazdas, but was concerned about rust issues. Also looked at some Hyundais, Elantras, etc. Just trying to figure out what old used cars to target forreliability.

honda crv seems to be perfect, but the ones I have found have 200K + miles. Rav 4s are scarce and not cheap either. Ideas? Is 200K OK for something I would not be using as a 1st car?
